About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in New York offering both in-person and virtual sessions. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. This study of psychology inspired my already strong desire to help others, and I went on to earn my Master of Social Work degree from New York University's Silver School of Social Work

After graduating, I continued my education to get my Post-Master's Certificate in Clinical Work with Adolescents from NYU. In addition to private practice I have worked in a variety of school settings, where I've done a combination of work individually with students as well as group and parent work. When not doing individual therapy, I work as the Middle School Counselor at The Packer Collegiate Institute in Brooklyn, NY.

My Approach

I approach the therapeutic relationship with collaboration at the forefront: no one person is the same, or needs the same things. You can expect me to be a thought partner and an ally; I am here to help guide you through challenges, setbacks, and periods of uncertainty in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

Whether I'm working with you or your teen my goal is help you connect with yourself in order to reach the goals we set together, and to feel empowered to be curious about who you are and what you need .

Rather than following a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor each session to meet you where you are, by practicing with an eclectic mix of therapeutic modalities, including Person-Centered Therapy and a bit of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Above all, I value connection wholeheartedly; I believe that in order for therapy to work the client and therapist need to have a strong, trusting working relationship. I aim to bring warmth, compassion, curiosity and a touch of humor into our work together. My ultimate hope is that our sessions will be a space where you feel understood and supported, and that those feelings can translate to your day-to-day life.
